Designed to simplify and expedite the learning process, Torpedo provides a list of skills for the swim, start, turn, and finish of all four competitive strokes at five levels of proficiency.
Coaches can track swimmers' progress in mastering skills, graphically display the progress on the computer, and print reports listing the mastered skills and the information critical to learning the remaining skills.
Torpedo is available in personal and team versions. The personal version is designed for age-group through masters swimmers who want to track their own skill development; parents who want to learn more about their child's sport; and coaches or directors of swim programs who want to sample the Torpedo system. |

The team version includes a database to store records on 500 swimmers and an editor for modifying the skills and cues. The manual includes chapters on developing a system to enhance skill learning and implementing a technique incentive program to recognize swimmers' accomplishments.
