The full power of AQUANEX™ physical force measurement as a coaching tool is realised in AQUANEX™+Video. A live video feed is recorded alongside the force data, with the ability to play both back perfectly synchronised.
This allows a coach to not only analyse the force profile in abstract, but also to use the video feed to identify the movements that relate to each part of the stroke curve. Problem areas can be studied in minute detail by replaying a video frame by frame, studying every motion and its effect on the force reading.
SharkEYE owners will find AQUANEX™ to be fully compatible with their existing video equipment. SharkEYE cameras and accessories are supplied with all our AQUANEX™ systems, and provide the last word in usability and video quality.

As the video is replayed, a marker bar moves along the force timeline, indicating the current point on the force curve as the video is played. Every frame of video can be related directly to a point on the force curve.
Poolside feedback using both live video and force data is probably the most effective coaching technique available for swimmers of all abilities, from novices through to elite athletes.
As well as diagnosis of problems of technique, Aquanex analysis is an invaluable long term tool for shaping coaching strategy. Overtraining, poor land training technique and impending injury are important examples of the issues that can be identified by systematic use of AQUANEX™ data as a continuous record of technique. |

The AQUANEX interface unit amplifies and converts the analogue signal from the sensors into a digital signal useable by the computer. A high quality onboard digital video interface captures the video data in real time, relieving the user's laptop of the need to process the raw video data. The interface units are compatible with most Windows laptops and PCs, and require no external power supply.
The Aquanex + Video version of the DU series interface unit is available in two channel variant only. |
For the ultimate in coaching freedom, the TU series units feature a wireless telemetry link between the swimmer and the interface unit.
This allows the swimmer to be continuously analysed throughout lengthy swims, as well as the snapshot analysis possible with the DU series units. The TU series interface units are supplied with an accompanying wireless sensor unit worn by the swimmer.
